Training

We provide training workshops for RAINBOWS Facilitators and Coordinators for central and northern Alberta program Sites 5 or 6 times per year, through our certified Rainbows Registered Directors, typically in September, November, January and April in Edmonton, as well as in September (and January, if there are a sufficient number of registrants) in Central Alberta.

RAINBOWS Facilitator and Coordinator training scheduled for the fall of 2011:

Central Alberta Facilitator Training, Carstairs: 844 Centre Street

Friday, September 9, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm and
Saturday, September 10, 8:30am - 5:00 pm
.

Coordinator training (Carstairs) will also be offered in Carstairs from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, September 9.

Directions:
Proceed west from QE #2 on Hwy 581; when you get to set of lights at Hwy 2A, turn right and go north. Turn left onto Centre Street and go one block. Turn right into the parking lot. Proceed through main door of the Town Office, 844 Centre Street.

Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Coordinator Training

Will be offered from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2011 and Friday, November 18, 2011 at the YWCA Edmonton, 10350 - 124 Street in Edmonton, preceding the Facilitator workshop.

Fees:The cost for Facilitator training will be announced this summer; there is no charge for Coordinator training, however you still need to pre-register.
