- increasing awareness of the impact of divorce, death and other family changes on children, families and communities
- educating society on the need to acknowledge and heal the emotional pain associated with loss
- raising public awareness of our programs through presentations, promotions, the media, our website and word of mouth
Site Development
- establishing new sites - we want every child in every community in Alberta to have access to a RAINBOWS peer support group!
- supporting our partner agencies through training, program materials, referrals, coordinator meetings, advertising and administrative resources
- fund development, to help new and existing RAINBOWS Sites, through Casinos, government grants and corporate donations
